Real homes. Real experiences.

Everyone I’ve interacted with from KC Waterproofing has been a delight. Friendly, professional and hardworking - from our Foundation Specialist Patrick to every member of Schylur’s crew who completed the work. Their clear communication with me throughout the course of the project was very appreciated. The crew clearly enjoys working together as well as the work they are doing, which gives me full confidence in the caliber of the end result. I would contract them again without reservation and happily recommend them to anyone in need of crawl space waterproofing services.

Sump pump backup pump activated an alarm so I scheduled a checkup to make sure everything was fine. Mario called before coming and was very polite. He showed up on time and got straight to work, I was not home at the time and asked him to call me with the results. He diagnosed the problem and then called me to run through results and also provide some more info on the pump operation. Very easy to work with, good communication, smart guy. Would use him for service again.

A sump pump was installed very quickly. Gerry and Davan were excellent. They protected the house and basement from extra dust and just going in and out to get the tools. Digging up the yard to install the pipe...they replaced the sod and cleared the extra yard waste. Also they were very friendly with our dog. Gerry, Davan, and Mario came to check the new installed sump pump. Made sure everything was working. I'd give everyone 10 stars if I could!!!!

KC Waterproofing and Foundation Repair has taken incredible care of my home through multiple visits. Gary and Davan handled my initial sump pump installation and crack repairs, and they were not only skilled but genuinely thoughtful throughout the process. We had a bit of early miscommunication, and instead of brushing it aside, they listened, acknowledged what happened, and adjusted the plan so everything aligned with what I needed. They brought me in at every step—walking me through pump location options, explaining the exit pipe decisions, and making sure I felt confident about the work being done. Their friendliness and respect made a stressful repair feel manageable. Later on, I had some cracks that needed to be reassessed, and Mario came out to take a look. He was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough, and he did an amazing job with the additional repairs. His calm, reassuring approach made me feel completely taken care of. I also want to highlight Don, the manager, who is just as kind and committed to making sure customers feel heard and supported. It’s clear this team truly values doing right by people. I’m grateful for their care and would absolutely recommend them for any foundation repair or waterproofing needs.

For the most part, everything has been smooth, but scheduling and having multiple visits has been a bit of a pain. The guys who have worked on our home have been great and professional, but the first team that came out and installed the sump pump installed it incorrectly and so I had to work to schedule another person to come out and fix that issue. We are also having someone replace the window where the work occurred with Kc Waterproofing, but I had to schedule a separate time for him to come out and complete so overall it’s 4 or 5 appointments to get the job complete. I would still recommend the company as their work is for the most part good, and the original crew took really good care of my house when they came during a wet, rainy, and muddy day and were as clean as can be, but just wish it didn’t take so many visits to get this job completed.

Excellent service and work! I’ve worked with KC Waterproofing and Foundation Repair twice now (for foundation work and most recently window well/waterproofing work). I have been satisfied with their work both times. Always easy to schedule and Recently Riley helped with a quote and was not pushy about moving forward; which was my experience a few years ago too. They don’t take up hours of time to give a quote which I appreciate. The team that did the recent work (main contact was Schuyler) were easy to work with and talk too, very kind. You can tell this group of people works together and works together well. They had a lot of hand digging and they did it very quickly. When an unexpected issue arose (removing some sidewalk) Schuyler laid out the what/why/how plainly in an easy to understand way. They did replace the sidewalk concrete. It was a big job and they got it done in a day and a half and were in high spirits throughout. They cleaned up a lot after the project too, which is appreciated. Schuyler did a final walk-through and answered any questions I had. Pricing was good too, I got another quote that was astronomical for pricing and the other company wasted 3 hours of my time to provide a quote. If I need anything in the future I won’t bother with a second quote as I’ve always had excellent experiences with KC Waterproofing. The support staff is very kind and helpful too, as well as prompt. Overall, excellent experiences; highly recommend!

We had a leak in what we thought was our foundation. Water coming in under our basement floor. Francis Heisinger came and checked it out for us. He could have recommended a French drain that would entail digging, pipes, removing and replacing concrete and lots of money. Being the honest man that he is, he gave us his opinion as to what the problem entailed. Thank you so very much. Should we ever need foundation work done, we will definitely use this company!

In the Olathe/Lenexa area, my wife and I needed some polyjacking done in our front porch as it had started cracking and lowering as well as a major gap filled underneath our back patio concrete slab. From the get-go, Matt and Rhonda were fantastic in communicating with us in regards to process, scheduling etc. Matt is super knowledgeable and was patient with all my questions and concerns. The crew, Vic and Donte were really great in being very personable and professional. As they worked they were clean, and did a great job in the work that we needed and were happy to walk me through the work once it had been done to make sure I was satisfied. We still have some work to have done with some french drains but this group made the experience great. Highly recommend and can't thank them enough for the thorough work.

We recently used KC Waterproofing and Foundation Repair to level our concrete driveway. We had extensive sinking on the driveway due to water intrusion, and we needed over three inches of lift on one side of the driveway. The KC Waterproofing team gave me a fair quote, matched the price of one of their competitors, and provided great service on the day of the project. We are very happy with the end result, and are confident that our driveway issues have been resolved.

KC Waterproofing was recommended by a friend and a family member. We had a bowing and cracked basement wall. Once we called, Don the owner came to our home to assess the problem. He advised we did not need piers nor anchors but Kavlar strips, which each strip is several thousand times stronger than concrete. The strips were attached to the seal plate of the house, the concrete wall ground down the width of the kavlar which was laid and sealed into the concrete then attached to the floor. There was TONS of concrete dust but our new furnace and ductwork was sealed off before work was started and afterwards the filter wasn’t dirty and no dust in the ductwork. After the job and clean up was completed we were left with only light touch up vacuuming and dusting. The job was a 25 foot wall and it was completed in one day ready to paint. We would absolutely 100% recommended this company to others...matter of fact we have and KC Waterproofing has another customer. Good, honest people to work with!!!!!!
